�@箸先の大まかな形を作る (20min)

�B箸の表面を削りなめらかにする　(10min)
Scrape and smooth the surface
�C1回目の塗料を塗る　(10min)
Apply 1st coat of paint

Apply 2nd coat of paint

作業前にサンドペーパーの反りを直すと削りやすくなります
Correcting warping of sandpaper makes it easier to sharpen.

�@ー１　机などの作業台の端に80番のサンドペーパーを置いて手が作業台の外に出た状態で削ります
　　　　Place some 80-grit sandpaper on the edge of a desk or other work surface and sand the chopsticks.Your hands will be positioned outside the workbench.

※作業台の上に手を置いた状態で削っていくと角度が付きすぎて箸先が合わなくなってしまいます
If your hands will be positioned on the workbench When sharpening, the angle becomes too sharp and the tips of the chopsticks no longer fit together.

�@ー２　正しい手の位置で　箸をなるべく寝かせ　箸先3�pを削り　ある程度の形を作ります
　　　　親指・人差し指・中指で箸を回転させながら削ります
　　　　With your hands in the correct position, lay the chopsticks flat so that they come into contact with the sandpaper over a large area, then carve off 3cm of the tip of the chopstick to create a rough shape.
　　　　Rotate the chopsticks with your thumb, index finger, and middle finger while sharpening.

※ヒバの箸の方は柔らかいので　力の入れすぎに注意してください
　Hiba is soft, so be careful not to apply too much force.
　黒檀の箸の方はとても硬いので　しっかり力を入れて削ってください
　Ebony is very hard, so please sharpen with firm force.

�Aー１　ある程度形ができたら120番のサンドペーパーに持ち替えて箸先の形を整えるように削ります
　　　　Once the tip of the chopsticks is roughly shaped,Switch to 120-grit sandpaper.The chopstick tips are then Sharpen to complete their shape.

�Aー２　先端を丸く削ると　口当たりがよくなります
　　　　Shaving the tip into a rounded shape improves mouth feel.

�Bー１　240番のサンドペーパーに持ち替え箸全体を削り　表面をなめらかにします
　　　　Switch to 240-grit sandpaper. Sharpen the entire chopstick and smooth the surface.

�Cー１　はじめに　箸を乾燥させる台を作ります
　　　　First, make a table to dry the chopsticks.

�Cー２　パッケージの箱の底から厚紙を取り出しはさみで半分に切ります
　　　　Remove the cardboard from the package box.　Cut in half with scissors.

�Cー３　半分に切った厚紙をそれぞれ半分に折って箱の上に置いてください
　　　　Fold each in half.　Place it on the box.

�Cー４　塗料の容器の蓋を開けます
　　　　Open the paint container of lid.

※必ず手袋をして作業してください
Wear gloves on the hand holding the chopsticks to prevent paint from getting on your hands.

�Cー５　はけで塗料を塗ります
　　　　Use a brush to paint the paint onto the chopsticks.

�Cー６　全体に塗れたら乾燥台に置きます
　　　　Once the entire surface is coated,　place it on a drying table.

�Cー７　２本目も同様に塗ります
　　　　Apply glass paint to the other chopstick in the same way.

�Dー１　2本とも塗れたら　8時間以上乾かします
　　　　Once both chopsticks are coated, let dry for at least 8 hours.

�Eー１　8時間以上おいて塗料が乾いたら、その上からもう一度　箸全体に塗料を塗ります
　　　　After 8 hours or more have passed and the paint has dried, another coat of paint is applied over it.

�Fー１　2本とも塗れたら　24時間以上乾かして完成です
　　　　After 24 hours, when the paint has dried, it is complete !
